Allcargo Logistics has reported impressive growth for Q2FY25, with consolidated revenue reaching ₹4,301 Cr, a 30% year-on-year increase. Consolidated EBITDA stood at ₹135 Cr, reflecting a 14% growth compared to the same period last year.

LCL (Less than Container Load) volume increased by 4% year-on-year to 2.37 million CBM, while FCL (Full Container Load) volume grew by 7% to 164K TEUs. Air volume saw a 14% rise, totaling 2.65 million kilos, although it experienced a slight decline of 4% from the previous quarter. The growth trajectory was attributed to enhanced global trade dynamics and the company's strategic initiatives.

The Contract Logistics business demonstrated remarkable performance, achieving a 46% YoY revenue growth, bolstered by new client acquisitions and increased revenue from existing customers. Additionally, the Express Business reported a 26% rise in EBITDA, highlighted by October 2024 marking a record month for volumes.

In a strategic move, Allcargo announced a scheme to demerge its International Supply Chain (ISC) business into a new entity, Allcargo ECU Limited, while merging its Express and Contract Logistics business into Allcargo Logistics. This structural adjustment aims to position the group for future growth and operational efficiency by April 2025, pending necessary approvals. Investors should monitor these developments for their potential long-term benefits.
