Indo-National Ltd. reported revenues of Rs. 239 crore in H1 FY25, showing a slight decline of 0.71% compared to Rs. 240 crore in H1 FY24. The second quarter witnessed a revenue drop to Rs. 127.6 crore, down 5.83% year-on-year. EBITDA for H1 FY25 also decreased to Rs. 5 crore from Rs. 10.5 crore, reflecting challenging macroeconomic conditions and subdued consumer spending. However, several positive highlights emerged, with battery sales volumes increasing by 7% in Q2 FY25, contributing to 62% of total revenues. The company achieved revenue gains across all product categories and made strides in expanding its presence in modern trade and e-commerce channels. Noteworthy progress in production volumes signifies the strongest output in recent years, alongside initial results from cost efficiency initiatives. Management is optimistic about launching innovative products and sees potential for growth, despite the current performance challenges.
The amalgamation of the wholly-owned subsidiary, Helios Strategic Systems Limited, into the company was also approved, further streamlining operations.
