Prism Johnson Limited has provided updates on its manufacturing tie-up with RLJ Infracement Private Limited. The total production capacity at RLJ's Mirzapur Plant in Uttar Pradesh is set to increase from 0.3 MTPA to 0.66 MTPA by March 2025, enhancing local cement availability in a key market that constituted about 60% of the company's sales in FY24. Consequently, the supply agreement with Rockhill Hi-Tech Cement Private Limited for 0.22 MTPA will be terminated from December 13, 2024. This change is not expected to negatively impact cement sales in Bihar, as supply will be managed directly from the company's Satna plant in Madhya Pradesh. With these developments, the company's grinding capacity through various agreements will rise from 1.3 MTPA to 1.44 MTPA by March 2025, positioning it favorably for growth in the region.
