EPL Limited has executed a further acquisition in Clean Max Aria Private Limited (CMAPL), investing ₹4.16 crore for 46,048 equity shares through a rights issue, maintaining a 49% shareholding in line with the Group Captive Power Policy. This acquisition is aimed at developing a captive power generation facility in Maharashtra and Gujarat, comprising solar and hybrid capacities of 3.3 MWp and 3.3 MW, respectively. CMAPL, incorporated to facilitate this initiative, currently does not have any turnover as it has yet to commence operations. This strategic move provides EPL significant leverage in renewable energy, creating potential cost efficiencies and sustainability advantages.
