Consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) for Q2 FY25 increased to INR 233.38 crore, up 16% from INR 202.31 crore in Q2 FY24, resulting in an EPS rise to Rs 7.34 from Rs 6.31. Standalone performance showed Total Income rising by 19% to INR 197.37 crore, driven by a 115% increase in net surcharge income. Standalone Profit Before Tax (PBT) decreased by 6% to INR 156.55 crore. Trading volumes grew 13% to 24,039 MU. For the first half of FY25, Consolidated PAT reached INR 423.26 crore, up from INR 345.01 crore in H1 FY24, while standalone PBT slightly increased to INR 300.21 crore from INR 286.16 crore. Standalone PAT remained stable at INR 222.81 crore. The management anticipates robust electricity demand aligned with GDP growth and aims to capitalize on opportunities in renewable energy and consulting, maintaining a positive outlook on their leadership position in power trading solutions.
