The 100% acquisition of SBC Beverages Tanzania Limited is proposed at an equity value of approximately USD 154.50 million (INR 13,040 million). For the fiscal year ending March 2024, SBCT reported net revenues of TZS 474,939 million (INR 15,053 million). The transaction aims to enhance VBL's position in Tanzania's beverage market.
In Ghana, the acquisition of SBC Beverages Ghana Limited is valued at around USD 15.06 million (INR 1,271 million), with net revenues of around GHS 62 million (INR 320 million) reported for the same period. This move is part of VBL's strategy to consolidate its franchisee operations within PepsiCo's brand portfolio.
Additionally, VBL plans to acquire the remaining 39.93% stake in its subsidiary, Lunarmech Technologies, for INR 2,000 million, aiming for full ownership. These strategic initiatives could bolster VBL's operational footprint and revenue streams in the coming years, presenting a positive outlook for stakeholders.
