Hindustan Foods Limited posted record semi-annual consolidated revenues, reporting total income of Rs 1,756.9 crores for H1FY25, up 35.4% year-on-year, driven by increased demand despite challenges in the FMCG sector. EBITDA surged by 38.6% to Rs 148.2 crores, while PBT rose 12.0% to Rs 68.0 crores. However, PAT saw a modest increase of 4.4% to Rs 50.2 crores.
On the operational front, the company is expanding its ice cream manufacturing capabilities with an additional customer at its Nashik site, involving a Rs 185 crore investment, expected to commence production in April 2025. Plus, a new greenfield ice cream plant in North India has been initiated, with a planned phased investment of Rs 225 crores. The Mysuru beverage plant is set to see a Rs 15 crore capacity expansion, and a Rs 40 crore investment has been finalized for color cosmetics in Silvassa.
