The Board of Directors of UCAL LIMITED has confirmed the resignation of Mr. Abhaya Shankar from his role as Whole-Time Director and CEO due to personal reasons, effective from the close of business. Simultaneously, Mr. T. Jaisankar has been appointed as the new CEO, effective from the following day, and will also serve as Key Managerial Personnel. Additionally, Mr. Adithya Srivatsa Jayakar has been appointed as an Additional Executive Director and Deputy Managing Director for a five-year term, while Mr. R. Sundar has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director. The Board has also convened an Extra-ordinary General Meeting for December to discuss these changes and other matters.
