Revenue from Operations for Hindustan Copper Limited reached ₹1,011.79 crore for the half-year ended September 30, 2024, reflecting a substantial increase from ₹752.34 crore in the same period last year, showcasing a growth of approximately 34.4%. This growth can be attributed to improved demand and operational efficiencies in mining and copper processing.

Net profit stood at ₹215.09 crore, up from ₹108.10 crore year-over-year, resulting in Earnings Per Share (EPS) of ₹2.22, compared to ₹1.12 previously. Factors positively impacting profitability include better cost management and increased production capacity.

Total operational costs increased, reflecting a 20.3% rise from the previous half-year, primarily driven by higher employee costs and material consumption. However, improved revenue suggests effective cost control measures were in place.

The balance sheet indicates a rise in total assets to ₹3,385.84 crore, from ₹3,270.02 crore, alongside a solid equity position of ₹2,407.74 crore, signalling financial stability.

Investors may consider a buy stance, given the robust financial performance and management’s focus on cost efficiency and market expansion, positioning the company favorably for future growth opportunities.
