Wipro Limited has signed a definitive agreement to invest in AMPIN Energy C&I One Private Limited, acquiring up to 7% equity for ₹2.4 crore. This strategic move aims to enhance the company's renewable energy usage in Tamil Nadu, contributing to its targets of achieving Net Zero emissions by 2040 and sourcing 100% renewable electricity by 2030. The transaction is set to be completed by June 30, 2025.
