Reliance Power's subsidiary, Rosa Power, has achieved zero-debt status by prepaying an additional Rs. 485 crore to Varde Partners, bringing total prepayments to Rs. 1,318 crore. This milestone strengthens the balance sheet, supported by a recent preferential equity issue of Rs. 1,525 crore, enhancing the company's net worth significantly. Reliance Power aims to leverage these developments to pursue growth opportunities in the clean energy sector. The company currently has no bank debt.
