Tata Consultancy Services has acquired Darshita Southern India Happy Homes Private Limited for a cash consideration of ₹2,250 crore, obtaining 100% equity shares. This acquisition allows TCS to secure a land and building intended for use as a delivery center, enhancing operational capacity. The call option for the complete acquisition of the entity is set for two years from now. While the entity is still under development and has not generated revenue in the past three years, this strategic move positions TCS well for future growth in the commercial real estate sector.
