REC Limited — Important, 05-11-2024: General Updates

REC Limited has incorporated two wholly-owned subsidiaries: Bidar Transco Limited and Tuticorin Power Transmission Limited. Both are established to manage power transmission projects. They hold an authorized and paid-up capital of ₹5,00,000 each and are expected to be transferred to successful bidders following the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding process. These subsidiaries are related parties of REC Limited but do not engage in any business or accumulate turnover at this stage.
