Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has approved a joint venture with Oil India Limited to develop a City Gas Distribution project in Arunachal Pradesh. The partnership will feature equal equity participation, with both companies holding 50% stakes. The authorized capital of the joint venture is set at Rs. 125 crores. This collaboration aims to leverage Oil India's experience in the northeastern hydrocarbon sector, enhancing BPCL's CGD Network development in the region.
