Coal India Limited — Important, 25-10-2024: Updates

Coal India Limited reported its un-audited financial results for the second quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2024. Raw coal production decreased to 152.06 million tonnes from 157.43 million tonnes year-over-year, while off-take also declined. Net sales for Q2 fell to ₹27,271.30 crore, with profit before tax at ₹8,153.37 crore. For the half-year, net sales were ₹60,441.43 crore, with profit before tax reaching ₹22,300.58 crore, both lower compared to the previous year.
