Thermax Limited has entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of Buildtech Products India Private Limited for approximately Rs. 72 crore, enhancing its construction chemicals portfolio. This strategic acquisition targets niche infrastructure projects such as tunnelling and hydro power, positioning Thermax to leverage Buildtech’s specialized products in the growing Indian construction chemicals market, valued at USD 3.76 billion in 2024. The acquisition is expected to be completed following certain conditions.
