Gensol Engineering Ltd., in partnership with Matrix Gas and Renewables, has been awarded a project to develop India’s first Green Hydrogen-Powered Steel Facility. This pioneering initiative will utilize 100% green hydrogen, significantly advancing sustainable steel production. The project is backed by a total capex of INR 321 Crore, with 50% funded by the government. This collaboration aims to enhance India’s clean energy transition while establishing a precedent for future green steel plants across the country.
