GSPL has received approval from the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) to expand the capacity of its High-Pressure Gujarat Gas Grid by laying the Anjar-Palanpur pipeline. The project entails a capital expenditure of ₹2051.18 Crore, with a pipeline diameter of 30 inches and a total length of approximately 274 km. Once operational, this expansion will add 12 million metric standard cubic meters per day (MMSCMD) to the existing capacity, bringing the total to about 44.76 MMSCMD. The completion of this project is scheduled within three years, aligning with GSPL's strategic growth plan and enhancing its position in the gas distribution sector.
