Qualcomm Technologies has joined as a strategic minority shareholder in the joint venture Qorix GmbH, alongside KPIT Technologies and ZF Friedrichshafen AG, which hold 50:50 ownership. This partnership aims to enhance the development of Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs) by delivering high-performance, pre-integrated, and scalable solutions for OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers. Qualcomm has the option to increase its investment up to €10 million and will appoint one member to Qorix's Advisory Board, providing strategic input to strengthen Qorix's competitive position in middleware solutions. This collaboration signifies a positive outlook for Qorix as it leverages combined expertise to advance automotive technology.
