Nephro Care India has organized an interactive session to raise awareness about kidney health, coinciding with World Kidney Day 2025. The event, moderated by senior nephrologists, attracted over 500 participants from India and Bangladesh. Experts discussed the alarming prevalence of kidney disease in India, where one in every eleven individuals is at risk for renal failure. Notably, diabetes and hypertension are responsible for over 30% of chronic kidney disease cases. Each year, India sees approximately 2.5 lakh new patients requiring dialysis due to advanced kidney failure, contributing to a total of around seven crore patients with chronic kidney diseases.

Dr. Pratim Sengupta emphasized the necessity of early detection and lifestyle changes to aid in prevention. With the rising burden of kidney-related ailments, Nephro Care India continues to focus on patient engagement through its diverse offerings like home dialysis and holistic care programs to improve patients' quality of life.
