Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited (GNFC) has achieved a significant milestone in sustainability with the installation of Clariant's EnviCat N₂O-S catalyst at its nitric acid plant. This development has led to a notable reduction of approximately 44,000 tons per month of nitrous oxide emissions, equating to an annual reduction of around 520,000 metric tons of CO₂ equivalents.
