UltraTech Cement Limited — Important, 19-03-2025: Updates

UltraTech Cement Limited has successfully completed debottlenecking initiatives at its Hirmi and Roorkee facilities, enhancing production efficiency. This has resulted in an additional capacity of 1.2 million tonnes per annum (mtpa), with 0.8 mtpa added at the integrated unit in Hirmi, Chhattisgarh, and 0.4 mtpa at the grinding unit in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. As a result, the total domestic grey cement manufacturing capacity now stands at 178.86 mtpa, while the company's global capacity, including overseas operations, reaches 184.26 mtpa. This strategic move positions UltraTech for stronger operational efficiency and growth in the cement market, suggesting a positive outlook for stakeholders.
