Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited — New Orders, 21-03-2025: Bagging/Receiving of orders/contracts

BHEL has received a Letter of Intent from Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) for an EPC package related to the 1x800 MW Ukai Extension Unit-7 in Gujarat. The order includes supply of key equipment such as Boilers, Turbines, and Generators, along with associated civil works. The project is expected to be commercially operational within 54 months, with a broad consideration of approximately ₹7,500 Crore (excl. taxes & duties). This significant contract enhances BHEL's order book and could positively influence investor sentiment by underscoring growth prospects in the power sector.
