Polyplex Corporation Limited has announced a board meeting to discuss the commissioning of two new projects by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Polyplex (USA) LLC. These include a new brownfield BOPET thin film line with a capacity of 50,000 MT p.a., bringing total US capacity to 81,000 MT p.a., and a debottlenecking of the existing PET resin plant from 58,000 MT p.a. to 86,000 MT p.a. The total capital expenditure for these projects is approximately USD 124 million.
