JTL Industries Limited has successfully deployed advanced Direct Forming Technology (DFT) at its Maharashtra facility, enhancing its manufacturing capabilities significantly. This state-of-the-art technology allows for the direct production of steel tubes without the need for roll changes, resulting in faster production cycles and improved precision. With this implementation, JTL can now manufacture square tubes up to 350x350 mm and rectangular tubes up to 400x300 mm, increasing its SKU range from 1,200 to 2,000. Furthermore, the technology is expected to reduce downtime by 33%, leading to a 25% decrease in downtime costs. As a result, the company anticipates that over 50% of its sales will come from value-added products. The DFT setup will elevate production capacity at the Maharashtra facility from 200,000 MTPA to 450,000 MTPA, positioning JTL to effectively meet rising domestic and international demands.
