Karur Vysya Bank has inaugurated four new branches in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, which will enhance its reach and service offerings. This expansion contributes to a total of 884 branches as of now, with an addition of 42 branches during the financial year 2024-25. The newly opened branches will provide a comprehensive range of banking services, including accounts, deposits, and loans, tailored to meet customer needs. KVB continues to strengthen its digital presence with features like Internet Banking and the upgraded KVB DLite Mobile Banking app.
The bank reported a total business of ₹1,81,993 crore with deposits of ₹99,155 crore and advances of ₹82,838 crore as of December 31, 2024. Notably, it posted an all-time high net profit of ₹1,605 crore in the last financial year, with a net profit of ₹1,428 crore recorded for the nine months of the current fiscal year. The bank maintains a healthy net NPA of 0.20%, indicating strong asset quality. Overall, this branch expansion appears to support KVB's positive growth trajectory.
