The Board of Directors of Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd. has announced a board meeting regarding the allotment of 39,64,756 fully paid-up equity shares at a price of ₹227 each, aggregating to approximately ₹89.99 crore. This preferential issue was approved following in-principle approvals from both BSE and NSE. Post-allotment, the issued and paid-up equity share capital will increase from 15,12,51,188 shares to 15,52,15,944 shares. The allotment reinforces capital funding and strengthens the company’s financial position.
