UltraTech Cement Limited — Important, 27-03-2025: Updates

UltraTech Cement Limited has successfully ramped up its production capacity with multiple expansions. A brownfield clinker capacity of 3.35 mtpa has been commissioned at its Maihar unit, alongside one of two new cement mills with a capacity of 2.7 mtpa, while the second mill is scheduled for commissioning in Q1FY26. Additionally, the company has expanded its grinding unit in Dhule, Maharashtra, adding a capacity of 1.2 mtpa, and completed the expansion of the Durgapur grinding unit with a capacity of 0.60 mtpa. A new bulk terminal in Lucknow, capable of handling 1.8 mtpa of cement, marks UltraTech’s entry into Uttar Pradesh. With these developments, the domestic grey cement manufacturing capacity is now 183.36 mtpa, and the total global capacity stands at 188.76 mtpa, positioning the company for increased market competitiveness and growth.
