Sterlite Technologies Limited has announced a board meeting regarding an Advance Work Order (AWO) from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for the design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation, and maintenance of the middle mile network of Bharatnet in the J&K and Ladakh Telecom Circles. The project, valued at ₹2,631.14 crore, will span three years for construction, followed by a ten-year maintenance contract. The successful execution of this contract positions STL favorably in the expanding telecommunications sector, potentially enhancing revenue and operational capabilities. This strategic win could generate a positive outlook among investors, reflecting strong demand for digital infrastructure developments.
