Himadri Speciality Chemical Ltd has announced a board meeting on March 29, 2025, where it approved the conversion of 30,00,000 Secured Optionally Convertible Debentures (OCDs) into equity shares of Birla Tyres Limited (BTL), increasing its stake to 99.97%. The subsequent acquisition of 9,999 existing shares from Dalmia Bharat Refractories Limited will be executed for a total consideration not exceeding INR 10,00,000, making BTL a Wholly Owned Subsidiary. Additionally, the company will convert 1,44,118 Unsecured OCDs into a 49% stake in Himadri Birla Tyre Manufacturer Private Limited, further enhancing its position in the tyre industry.
