B&B Triplewall Containers Limited has approved the acquisition of a 15.05% equity stake in Siva Electric Generation Private Limited for a cash consideration of ₹16,21,720 (approximately ₹0.16 crore). This strategic move, aimed at securing a stable and reliable power supply, will help the company meet its growing energy demands while acquiring energy at costs lower than the current offerings from the Tamil Nadu Electric Board. Siva Electric, established in 1999, reported a turnover of ₹7.14 crore, reflecting a solid growth trend over the past three years. The acquisition is expected to complete within 60 days.
