Tata Motors registered total sales of 252,642 units in Q4 FY25, down from 265,090 units in the same period last year. Passenger Vehicle (PV) sales were 146,999 units, a decrease of 6% YoY, while Commercial Vehicle (CV) sales stood at 105,643 units, down 3% YoY.
In the domestic market, total domestic sales were 245,891 units, reflecting a 5% decline from the previous year. Notable trends included a 6% increase in sales of Intermediate and Light Commercial Vehicles, while Heavy Commercial Vehicle sales remained flat. In passenger vehicles, the SUV market continued to thrive, accounting for around 55% of new car sales with Tata Motors leading growth in CNG vehicles and achieving a 50% YoY increase.
Looking ahead, Tata Motors anticipates demand growth thanks to improved fleet utilization and a focus on infrastructure projects, while adapting to potential regulatory changes. The company remains well-positioned to capitalize on market opportunities through its diverse product portfolio and innovative strategies.
