Bajaj Finance has announced a board meeting for the allotment of 5,99,000 Secured Redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) at a face value of ₹1 lakh each, totaling ₹5,994.43 crore through private placement. The issue includes two options, one of 2,99,000 NCDs and another of 3,00,000 NCDs, with maturities set for 2035 and 2030, respectively. The NCDs will bear interest rates of 7.55% and 7.57% per annum. This initiative strengthens Bajaj Finance's capital structure and could enhance its funding flexibility for growth. Investors may view this as a positive outlook, given the strong interest rates offered and planned listing on the BSE's Wholesale Debt Market.
