Paras Defence has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Israel’s MicroCon Vision Ltd, positioning itself as the exclusive supplier of advanced drone camera technology in India. This collaboration is expected to significantly reduce the cost of high-end drone cameras, typically priced between ₹20 lakh and ₹40 lakh, by 50-60% through the use of indigenous parts. This partnership not only aims to meet domestic demand but also seeks to establish India as a global manufacturing hub for advanced technologies.

The initiative will enhance India's self-reliance in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) payloads, while improving surveillance capabilities through the integration of AI-powered analytics and high-resolution imaging. Paras Defence will leverage MicroCon’s expertise for ISR payloads and Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) seekers, aligning with the anticipated growth of the Indian drone market, projected to expand by 17% by 2029. This collaboration is expected to strengthen India-Israel defence ties and foster innovation in the defence infrastructure, marking a significant advancement in the country's operational efficiency for both defence and commercial sectors.
