Nestlé India has commenced the construction of its first factory in Eastern India, located in Khordha, Odisha. This will be the company's tenth factory overall. The event was honored by the Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, who expressed his support for the facility, which aims to embody state-of-the-art technology and sustainable manufacturing practices.

Chairman and Managing Director, Shri Suresh Narayanan, highlighted that this development aligns with the ‘Make in India’ initiative and is a testament to Nestlé's commitment to the Indian market. The factory, with an initial investment of approximately INR 900 crore, will focus on producing items from Nestlé's prepared dishes and cooking aids portfolio.
