The Board of Directors of UltraTech Cement Limited has announced a board meeting outcome approving the acquisition of 6,42,40,000 equity shares of Wonder WallCare Private Limited for an enterprise value not exceeding ₹235 crores. This acquisition will result in Wonder WallCare becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary, enhancing UltraTech’s production capacity of wall putty through a new manufacturing plant in Rajasthan. The acquisition is expected to support UltraTech’s growth strategy in the competitive and fragmented putty market and is anticipated to close within the next three months.
