Metropolis Healthcare has entered into a Business Transfer Agreement with Dr. Ahujas’ Pathology & Imaging Centre (DAPIC) and its founders, Dr. Alok Ahuja and Dr. Alka Ahuja, to acquire their businesses on a slump sale basis. The total acquisition cost is INR 35.01 crores, with completion expected within 45 days, contingent on specified conditions being met. This acquisition enhances Metropolis' presence in Dehradun, building on prior expansions in North India, which are projected to increase revenue contribution from the region from 8% to an estimated 14–15%. DAPIC reported a consolidated turnover of INR 12.4 crores for FY 2023-24, reflecting stable growth.
