Tata Steel Limited — Updates, 07-04-2025: Press Release
Tata Steel's production and delivery volumes for FY2025 show a positive trend across its operations. In India, crude steel production rose 5% YoY to approximately 21.75 million tons, driven by enhanced capacities at the Kalinganagar facility and performance at Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited. Notably, 4QFY25 production was 5.51 million tons, though it dipped slightly QoQ due to maintenance activities. Domestic deliveries also surged, surpassing previous records with a 4.4% YoY increase to 20.94 million tons.
Tata Steel Netherlands recorded a commendable recovery, achieving liquid steel production of 6.75 million tons and deliveries of 6.22 million tons, attributed to normalized operations post-reline. However, Tata Steel UK's performance was constrained, with liquid steel production at around 1.07 million tons, primarily fulfilling demand through downstream processing after the closure of blast furnaces. The company is strategically positioned for growth, supported by increased domestic demand for steel and enhancements in operational efficiency. Investors should look forward to the continued upward trajectory in Tata Steel's production volumes and delivery performance.
