Bharat Electronics Limited — Updates, 07-04-2025: Press Release

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has signed a contract with the Ministry of Defence valued at Rs. 2,210 Crores for the supply of an Electronic Warfare Suite for Mi-17 V5 helicopters of the Indian Air Force. This suite includes a Radar Warning Receiver, Missile Approach Warning System, and Counter Measure Dispensing System, which are designed to improve the combat survivability of the helicopters through effective countermeasures. This order reflects BEL's capabilities in indigenous design and manufacturing, showcasing its strategic position in the defence sector. With this contract, BEL's total orders this financial year have reached Rs. 2,803 Crores, indicating a strong start for the company and a positive outlook for future growth.
