Keyaan Distilleries Pvt Ltd has inaugurated a 300 KLPD grain-based distillery in Gorakhpur, designed and engineered by Praj Industries. This facility, which can scale up to 500 KLPD, underscores Uttar Pradesh's commitment to green growth and rural development. Utilizing broken rice, maize, and corn for feedstock, the distillery will produce fuel ethanol and rectified spirit for medicinal use, strengthening the agro-processing sector and supporting India's ethanol blending goals. The project is expected to create over 1,200 jobs and provide consistent demand for local grains, benefiting farmers by integrating them into the clean energy value chain. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the project's role in enhancing energy security and promoting sustainable fuels, positioning Praj Industries as a key player in the bioeconomy with over 1,000 successful projects globally. This milestone further supports India's journey towards an energy-secure and agriculturally empowered future.
