ITI Limited has initiated the State Network Operations Center (S-NOC) for the BharatNet Phase-III Project in Himachal Pradesh, collaborating with BSNL. This centralized facility will monitor and manage the project's network performance, ensuring efficient service delivery. The company emerged as L1 for BharatNet Phase-III for key packages, with a total order value of Rs. 5,050 Cr.
Through this project, 3,615 gram panchayats will be connected to 91 block headquarters using 10 Gbps bandwidth, extending connectivity to 15,538 villages in the state. Approximately 20,000 kilometers of optical fiber cable will be laid to facilitate this initiative.
The project aims to enhance digital connectivity and rural empowerment, bringing high-speed internet services to challenging terrains in Himachal Pradesh. Chairman and Managing Director Rajesh Rai emphasized the project's significance in promoting education, health, business, and e-governance across rural areas. This development represents a crucial step towards a digital revolution in the region, promising long-term opportunities for growth.
