Gensol Engineering Limited has successfully commissioned a ground-mounted solar power plant in Panchet, Jharkhand, developed under a ₹40 crore EPC contract. The 40-acre facility is designed to generate over 15 million units of clean energy annually, significantly aiding local commercial applications. Gensol's expertise was crucial in navigating the site's challenging topography, which includes loose soil and hard rock formations. Innovative engineering solutions were implemented, including advanced Mounting Structure Systems (MMS) and high-efficiency PV modules.

The project is expected to offset 21,000 metric tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year, supporting Jharkhand’s renewable energy objectives while enhancing energy security by reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
