The Central Government has initiated the amalgamation of several Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across various states into single entities for improved operational efficiency and service delivery.

1. **Gujarat**: Baroda Gujarat Gramin Bank and Saurashtra Gramin Bank will merge into Gujarat Gramin Bank, with an authorized capital of ₹2,000 crore.

2. **Rajasthan**: Rajasthan Marudhara Gramin Bank and Baroda Rajasthan Kshetriya Gramin Bank will become Rajasthan Gramin Bank, also with a capital of ₹2,000 crore.

3. **Uttar Pradesh**: Baroda U.P. Bank, Aryavart Bank, and Prathama U.P. Gramin Bank will consolidate into Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank, maintaining the same capital structure.

4. **Karnataka**: Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank and Karnataka Gramin Bank will transform into Karnataka Grameena Bank, sharing the ₹2,000 crore authorized capital.

5. **Bihar**: Dakshin Bihar Gramin Bank and Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank will amalgamate to form Bihar Gramin Bank, further expanding operations under an authorized capital of ₹2,000 crore.

6. **Madhya Pradesh**: Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank and Madhyanchal Gramin Bank will combine as Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank, maintaining the ₹2,000 crore capital.

7. **Odisha**: Odisha Gramya Bank and Utkal Grameen Bank will merge into Odisha Grameen Bank with an authorized capital of ₹2,000 crore.

8. **West Bengal**: Bangiya Gramin Vikash Bank, Paschim Banga Gramin Bank, and Uttarbanga Kshetriya Gramin Bank will form West Bengal Gramin Bank with a capital of ₹2,000 crore.

9. **Maharashtra**: Maharashtra Gramin Bank and Vidharbha Konkan Gramin Bank will amalgamate into a single entity under Maharashtra Gramin Bank, also with ₹2,000 crore in authorized capital.

10. **Jammu & Kashmir**: J & K Grameen Bank and Ellaquai Dehati Bank will merge to create Jammu and Kashmir Grameen Bank, preserving the ₹2,000 crore capital structure.

These mergers will result in a unified operational footprint in their respective states, enhancing financial services efficiency and accessibility. The effective date for these amalgamations is set for May 1, 2025.
