Remsons Industries has completed the acquisition of a 51.01% stake in Astro Motors Private Limited for Rs. 14.22 crore, consisting of Rs. 4.22 crore in equity and Rs. 10 crore in cash. Astro Motors specializes in developing electric three-wheelers featuring innovative gear technology, achieving a highest payload capacity of 747 kgs and a range of 131 kms on a single charge. Their flagship vehicle, the Astro Navya, notably set a record at Umling La Pass in Ladakh.

Astro Motors is actively expanding its dealer network across India and plans to launch passenger electric vehicles within the next four to six months. With the growing demand for last-mile delivery solutions fueled by the quick commerce and E-Commerce sectors, this acquisition positions Remsons to capture a significant niche share in the electric three-wheeler market over the next three years.
