Coromandel International Limited and Saudi Mining Company (Ma'aden) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance their collaboration in the supply of Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) and NP/NPK fertilizers. This partnership builds on a longstanding relationship, with Ma'aden already serving as a major ammonia supplier for Coromandel. The agreement aims to secure a consistent supply of these crucial fertilizers, especially in light of recent global supply disruptions affecting DAP availability in India. Ma'aden's commitment includes an expansion of its production capacity from 6 million tonnes to 9 million tonnes, further supporting India's agricultural needs. Both companies plan to explore collaborative efforts in research and development, innovation, and the introduction of specialty products to advance sustainable farming practices, ensuring a positive outlook for their combined roles in India's agricultural sector.
