Orchid Pharma has entered into a Joint Memo of Compromise with DBS Bank India Limited to resolve a prolonged dispute concerning lease rentals for property owned by DBS Bank in Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu. The agreement settles all claims related to lease rentals from April 1, 2020, to December 31, 2024, with a total value of ₹7.62 Crores. As part of this settlement, Orchid Pharma has also executed a new lease agreement for the property, which aims to mitigate future risks associated with this dispute. This resolution may enhance the company's operational stability and allows it to move forward without the burden of pending legal issues, presenting a more favorable outlook for investors.
