JSW Energy Limited — Important, 09-04-2025: General Updates

JSW Energy's wholly-owned subsidiary, JSW Neo Energy Limited, has completed the acquisition of a 4.7 GW renewable energy platform from O2 Power Pooling Pte. Limited, valued at approximately ₹12,468 crores. The transaction will generate a steady-state EBITDA of ₹1,500 crores from 2,259 MW expected to be operational by June 2025. The total capacity is projected to reach 4,696 MW by June 2027, yielding an annualized EBITDA of ₹3,750 crores.

The acquired assets cover 4,100 MW of utility-scale projects and 596 MW of commercial and industrial capacity, with a significant portion (3,722 MW) already secured under Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). The portfolio includes a diverse energy mix with an average tariff of ₹3.37/KWh. This acquisition aligns with JSW Energy's strategy to reach a total generation capacity of 20 GW well before 2030, enhancing its market position and operational capabilities.
