Kochi Municipal Corporation is set to implement Genesys International's Digital Twin Platform as part of a project awarded to a consortium that includes UL Technology Solutions. Valued at Rs. 9.13 crore, this initiative will utilize advanced LiDAR data and a web-based GIS platform to create a comprehensive geospatial management system for all wards in Kochi. The new platform aims to enhance decision-making for infrastructure planning, utility management, and disaster response. This project follows Genesys' recent success in Hubli, Karnataka, where it secured a Rs. 21.45 crore contract, highlighting the growing trend of digital twin technologies in urban management across Indian cities. The Chairman of Genesys, Sajid Malik, emphasized the company's commitment to fostering smart city solutions through innovative geospatial technologies, positioning Genesys as a key player in enabling proactive governance and improved public service delivery.
