The Board of Directors has noted the sale of Technology Know-how and nine Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) by Guangdong Symphony Keruilai Air Coolers Co. Ltd. (GSK) to IMPCO S de R.I.de C.V. The transaction is valued at approximately USD 5.1 million (around ₹ 43.5 crores) and is subject to customary approvals from both countries. GSK plans to use the net proceeds to repay loans to Symphony Limited, India, aiming for a completely debt-free status. Notably, GSK retains a robust portfolio of technologies and IPRs for future business growth, particularly in South Asian markets. Recent financial performance has allowed GSK to repay approximately ₹ 13.5 crores, reducing Symphony's outstanding loans to around ₹ 49.6 crores, with continued repayment visibility projected through internal accruals.
