Havells India Limited — JV/Acquisition, 14-04-2025: Acquisition

Havells has announced a board meeting to approve an investment of INR 600 Crore in Goldi Solar Private Limited, a company specializing in solar modules and inverters. This strategic minority investment will enhance Havells' supply chain for essential solar components, ensuring consistent access to these products. Following the completion of the investment, Havells will hold between 8.9% and 9.24% of Goldi's share capital, contingent on Goldi's total fundraising efforts of INR 1,050-1,300 Crore. The deal is expected to finalize by June 30, 2025, pending approval from the Competition Commission of India.
